Jeneen Peterson brings more than two decades of finance and operations leadership to her role as Vice President of Finance & Administration at Opportunity Austin. She oversees strategic financial management, budgeting, and administrative operations, ensuring strong fiscal stewardship and organizational effectiveness in advancing regional economic growth.

Before joining Opportunity Austin, Jeneen began her career in public accounting with a Big Four firm, where she developed a foundation in audit, compliance, and financial reporting across diverse industries. She went on to serve in senior finance and administrative roles within both the public and private sectors — including municipal government and higher education — where she led system implementations, strengthened internal controls, and aligned financial strategy with organizational missions.

A graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Accountancy, Jeneen is known for her analytical rigor, operational insight, and collaborative leadership. Her work reflects a commitment to clarity, integrity, and sustainable growth for Central Texas.
