Apollo Selects Austin for New Strategic Growth Hub

A global finance leader is choosing Austin for what’s next.

Apollo Global Management has announced Austin as the location of a new strategic growth hub focused on innovation, emerging technology, and the firm’s next phase of growth.

The new office will support emerging and new businesses across Apollo’s asset management and retirement solutions platform. Apollo CEO Marc Rowan cited Austin’s talent, technology ecosystem, and business environment as key reasons for the decision, noting that the new hub will help build the next generation of Apollo and Athene.

“This announcement represents more than a corporate expansion. It reinforces Austin’s position as one of the country’s premier destinations for business investment,” said Casey Dobson, Chairman of Opportunity Austin. “Opportunity Austin is proud to work alongside our state, regional, and local partners to attract transformative projects that strengthen our economy and create pathways to high-quality careers. We are honored to welcome Apollo and look forward to the lasting impact this investment will have across the region for years to come.”

Apollo’s decision adds to Austin’s growing role at the intersection of financial services, technology, and advanced industries, and reinforces the Austin region as a place where global companies are choosing to build what comes next.
