INSIGHTS
- There were approximately 64,710 available job postings during the March 2024 monthly reporting period, an increase from 62,053 postings when compared to February 2024. There were 24,722 new (first-time) job postings, an increase of 284 first-time postings when compared to the previous month. New job postings in March 2024 represented 39% of all available job postings, a decrease of 1% from February 2024. New job postings increased by about 2% in the Austin and San Antonio metros and 3% increase in the Houston and Dallas metros compared to the prior month.
- Approximately 13% or 8,215 of all available job postings during the March 2024 reporting period fell under Management Occupations while 7275 available job postings fell under Healthcare Practitioners and Technical, and an additional 2353 fell under Healthcare Support, showing continued strong demand for experienced and healthcare talent in our region.
- There are currently about 1,184 postings indicating vaccination requirements, an increase of 4 postings compared to the previous month. Top employers mentioning vaccination requirements include CVS Health, Aetna and Aveanna Healthcare.
- 2360 postings offered “signing bonuses,” an increase of 18 postings when compared to the previous month.
